OPTIMIZATION MODEL OF INTEGRATED LOGISTICS USING CONTINUOUS REVIEW AND GREEDY ALGORITHM

M. Muliyadi

Abstract

This research is conducted to build an integrated logistics optimization models that integrate and optimize the deliveryorder, inventory, packaging and purchasing in PT.Rapid Niaga Internasional Makassar. In the continuous reviewinventory method is used to optimize inventory while on the delivery order and purchasing using a greedy algorithm.Greedy algorithm on the delivery order is used to optimize the choice of container shipping services that used in dispatching customer orders to produce the lowest transmission costs. Meanwhile at purchasing the greedy algorithm is used to optimize the choice of Bid seaweed from farmers who exist in each branch to minimize purchase price of seaweed. The Testing on model with six scenarios conclude that inventory stock out still occurred. On the six scenarios with a lead time of 10 and 99.9% service level can be reduced by the amount of stock out up to four times the total for 2014. While testing for the greedy algorithm optimization model delivery order of the three scenarios is given always can provide maximum results of selection as well as on the optimization model purchasinggreedy algorithm can provide maximum selection of the two scenarios are given.
